CENTRALISED EMPLOYMENT NOTIFICATION (CEN) No.02/2025 Recruitment of Technician Grade-I Signal and various categories of Technician Grade-III
Short Information :-
Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) are invited Application from eligible candidates for the posts Technician Grade-I Signal and various post of Technician Grade-III mentioned in the official notification . Applications complete in all respects must be submitted ONLINE ONLY latest by 23.59 hours of 28.07.2025. Intrested candidate can read official notification before online apply.

Examinatiion fee :-
- General / OBC – 500
- SC, ST, Ex-Servicemen, PwBD, Female, Transgender, Minorities or Economically Backward Class (EBC) – 250
- The applicable Examination Fee is also required to be paid separately for each Pay Level.
- Only candidates who attend CBT will get a refund of their examination fee .

Eligibility :-
- Technician Grade-I Signal – Bachelor of Science In Physics / Electronics / Computer Science / Information Technology/ Instrumentation from a recognized University/Institute (OR) B.Sc. in a combination of any sub-stream of basic streams of Physics/ Electronics/Computer Science/Information Technology/Instrumentation from a recognized University/Institute (OR) B) Three years Diploma in Engineering in the above basic streams or in combination of any of above basic streams (OR) Degree in Engineering in the above basic streams or in combination of any of above basic streams.
- Technician Grade-III – Matriculation / SSLC plus ITI from recognized institutions of NCVT/SCVT in relavent trade mention in official notification. (OR) Matriculation / SSLC plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship in the trade mentioned in official notification .
Scheme of Examination :-
Computer Based Test (CBT):
There will be a separate CBT for each pay level.
Pattern & Syllabus of CBT for Pay Level- 5 (Technician Gr I Signal)
- Total Duration: 90 min & Total Questions: 100
- There shall be negative marking 1/3rd marks for each wrong answer.
- Normalization of marks will be done for CBT held in multiple shifts.
- Minimum percentage of marks for eligibility in various communities: UR–40%, EWS–40%, OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)-30%, SC-30% and ST-25%. This is also applicable to Ex. Servicemen category candidates, as per their community. These percentages of marks for eligibility may be relaxed by 2% marks for PwBD candidates in case of shortage of PwBD candidates against vacancies reserved for them.
- The marks scored in CBT shall be used for shortlisting of candidates for further stages of this recruitment process.

How to Fill Form :-
- Candidates must read all the information and instructions given the detailed CEN 02/2025 carefully before filling the ONLINE application to prevent mistakes.
- Candidate must first create an account for this CEN by using the link provided on the official RRB websites.
- Candidates are strongly advised, in their own interest, to authenticate their identity using DigiLocker or Aadhaar during the “Create an Account” process.
- A separate application is required for each Pay Level, as separate CBTs (Computer Based Tests) will be conducted for each Pay level notified under this CEN. The applicable Examination Fee must be paid separately for each Pay Level.
- Candidates must fill the ONLINE application form with correct information and re-check before submission.
- Applicant will not be able to make any correction in the ONLINE application after submission of the application.
- Each candidate must choose only one RRB for each specific Pay Level.
- Mandatory scanned documents to be kept ready for uploading during the on-line application.
- Candidates are not required to upload a pre-existing photograph while applying.
- The application module is designed to capture a live photograph of the candidate at the time of filling up the application form.
- After submission of application, candidate will be directed to opt for the mode of payment of examination fee.
